About this tool

Pull pages out of a PDF by typing a range, '1-3,5,8' or 'all', and each selected page becomes its own PDF, packaged together in a zip.

Use it to extract a signature page, separate scanned documents that were combined, or share one chapter without the rest. The source document is read locally by pdf-lib and never transmitted.

How it works

  1. Drop your file(s), they are read locally on your device.
  2. Set the options you need and run the tool.
  3. Download the finished PDF, images or text.

Frequently asked questions

How do I extract just a few specific pages?

Type the pages the way you would in a print dialog, for example 1-3,5,8. Each selected page becomes its own PDF and they download together as a zip.

Does splitting change the quality of the pages?

No. Pages are copied out of the original document as-is, with their text, images and formatting untouched. Nothing is re-rendered.

Can I split a PDF without installing anything or making an account?

Yes. The tool is a web page; it reads your PDF locally, splits it on your device and hands you the results. No install, no sign-up, and the document never leaves your device.
