Two modes. Pick a quality level yourself, or enter a target size in KB and the tool binary-searches for the highest quality that fits under it, shrinking dimensions only when quality alone isn't enough. That second mode is built for upload forms with strict size limits.

Frequently asked questions
How do I compress an image to exactly 100 KB or 200 KB?
Switch to target size mode and type the limit in KB. The tool tries progressively lower quality settings until the file fits, and only shrinks the dimensions if quality alone cannot get there.
How much smaller will my image get?
Photos usually compress to a fifth or a tenth of their original size before quality loss becomes noticeable. Screenshots and graphics vary more. The result size is shown for every file, so you can adjust and retry instantly.
Does compressing here add a watermark or limit how many files I can process?
