About this tool

Frequently asked questions
What does center-crop mean exactly?
The image is first scaled so it covers your target frame completely, then everything outside the frame is trimmed away evenly from the edges. The middle of your photo always survives, the borders are what get cut.
Will the output be exactly the size I typed?
Yes, to the pixel. That is the point of this tool: if a form wants 500 by 500, you get exactly 500 by 500 with no letterboxing or stretching.
Is my photo uploaded anywhere while cropping?
No. The photo is read and cropped by your own browser and never crosses the network, which makes it fine to use for ID photos and other personal images.
